Community Guidelines

1. Be real

• Use your real name and a real photo. No fake profiles, no impersonating someone else.
• One account per person. Don't create duplicate or fake accounts.
• Keep your profile and Asks honest and accurate.

2. Be respectful

• Treat every member with courtesy — the way you'd treat a neighbor.
• No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind (including based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age).
• Disagreements happen. Keep them civil, or walk away.

3. Be honest about what you need and offer

• Describe your Ask clearly and truthfully.
• If you're offering to help, only offer what you can genuinely and safely do.
• Don't promise skills, licenses, or qualifications you don't have.

4. Keep it safe

Quikask connects neighbors, but we don't run background checks and we can't guarantee anyone's safety — so use your judgment. A few sensible habits:

• Chat within Quikask first and get a feel for the person before meeting.
• For a first meeting, consider a public place or having someone else around.
• Be cautious about sharing your home address, financial details, or personal information until you're comfortable.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, don't proceed — and report it.

5. Keep reviews honest

• Only review someone you actually worked with, after a real, completed job.
• Be fair and truthful. Reviews are the heart of Quikask — they help everyone.
• Don't post fake, paid-for, or revenge reviews, and don't pressure anyone for a good one.

6. Payments are between you and the other person

• Quikask never handles money — you arrange payment directly with the other member.
• Agree on price and terms clearly, before the work starts, to avoid misunderstandings.
• Be cautious of anyone asking for large payments up front or pushing you off the platform to avoid reviews.

7. What's not allowed

Don't use Quikask to offer, request, or arrange:

• Anything illegal under local, state, or federal law.
• Weapons, drugs, or regulated or dangerous substances.
• Sexual or adult services.
• Anything involving minors.
• Work that legally requires a license or certification the person doesn't have.
• Scams, fraud, spam, or unsolicited promotions.
• Anything that puts someone's safety at risk.

For everyone's safety, we may also limit or remove certain sensitive categories of Asks (for example, some in-home, childcare, or care-related services), especially early on.

8. Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please report it — it helps protect the whole community.

We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service, at our discretion. We want Quikask to stay a place people trust.

9. A friendly reminder

Quikask is a place to find good people — but you're always responsible for your own decisions and dealings. We connect neighbors; we don't vet them. Use good judgment, be kind, and help us keep this community strong.
